Cũng giống trong tiếng Việt, tiếng Anh cũng đều có các từ bỏ loại: danh từ, tính từ, trạng từ,… bài viết hôm nay sẽ nói đến một từ loại cực kỳ quan trọng chính là động từ. Động từ mở ra trong 95% các loại câu cùng đóng những vai trò vào câu.

Cách thức thực hiện và chia động từ

Động từ tận cùng bằng E –> mách nhỏ D:to live –> He lived in Hanoi for 2 years.

Động từ tận cùng bởi phụ âm + Y –> Đổi Y thành IED:to study –> They studied in the library last weekend.

Động xuất phát từ 1 âm ngày tiết tận cùng bằng 1 nguyên âm + 1 phụ âm và hễ từ được nhấn mạnh vấn đề (stressed) nghỉ ngơi âm tiết cuối –> gấp rất nhiều lần phụ âm cuối trước khi thêm ED:to stop –> stopped; lớn control –> controlled

Một số đụng từ 2 âm tiết, tận cùng bởi L, được nhấn mạnh (stressed) ở âm tiết đầu tiên cũng gấp rất nhiều lần phụ âm cuối trước khi thêm ED:to travel –> travelled; lớn kidnap –> kidnapped; lớn worship –> worshipped

5.3. Cách phát âm V-ed

Có cho tới 3 phương pháp để phát âm từ có -ed tận cùng:

/id/: sau các âm /t/ cùng /d//t/: sau các phụ âm câm (voiceless consonant sounds)/d/: sau những nguyên âm (vowel sounds) cùng phụ âm tỏ (voiced consonant sounds)

5.4. Phương pháp thêm -ing sau rượu cồn từ

V-ing được có mặt để khiến cho hiện tại phân từ (present participle), trong số thì tiếp diễn (Continuous Tenses) cùng để chế tạo thành cồn danh trường đoản cú (Gerund). Gồm 6 trường đúng theo thêm ING.

Thông thường: thêm -ING và cuối cồn từ nguyên mẫu

to walk –> walkingto vì –> doing

Động từ tận cùng bởi E –> bỏ E trước lúc thêm -ING

to live –> livingto love –> loving

Động từ bỏ tận cùng bằng -IE –> đổi thành -Y trước khi thêm -ING.

to die –> dyingto lie –> lying

Động từ một âm tiết tận cùng bằng 1 nguyên âm + 1 phụ âm và cồn từ được nhấn mạnh (stressed) sinh hoạt âm máu cuối –> gấp đôi phụ âm cuối trước lúc thêm -ING.

to run –> runningto cut –> cutting

Một số hễ từ 2 âm tiết, tận cùng bởi L, được nhấn mạnh (stressed) ở âm tiết thứ nhất cũng gấp đôi phụ âm cuối trước lúc thêm -ING.

to travel –> travelling

Một số hễ từ có các thêm -ING quan trọng để né nhầm lẫn:

to dye (nhuộm) –> dyeing khác với to lớn die (chết) –> dyingto singe (cháy xém) –> singeing khác với to lớn sing (hát) –> singing
